Wonton Appetizers

"Quick and Easy Wanton treats!"

Wrapped Wonton appetizers are very tasty and make for great finger foods. Serve them before your special BBQ meal!



"Chicken Wontons"

chicken wontons Ingredients

- 1 Cup chicken (diced & cooked)

- 1 Tablespoon of salt

- 1 Cup of BBQ sauce

- 1 Tablespoon of paprika (sweet)

- 2 Teaspoons of cajun pepper

- 25 Wonton wrappers

Method

Combine all ingredients except the wonton wrappers in a medium sized mixing bowl. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.

Place 2 teaspoons of mixture in the middle of a wonton wrapper. Lightly brush water around the corners of the wrapper.

Fold over the ends and press down to lock in mixture.

Continue to fill all the wonton wrappers and place on a paper towel.

Heat oil in deep fryer to 370°, fry wontons for 4 - 5 minutes until golden brown.

Serve with BBQ sauce as a dip.



"Crispy Beef Wontons"

beef wontons Ingredients

- 1 cup ground beef (cooked)

- 2 Teaspoon of sugar

- 2 Teaspoon of salt

- 1 Tablespoons of flour

- 2 Teaspoons of garlic powder

- 2 Teaspoons of black pepper

- 25 Wonton wrappers

Method

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl except for the wonton wrappers. Mix ingredients together thoroughly.

Spread out a wonton wrapper, place 2 teaspoons of mixture in the center of wrapper.

Lightly brush water on the ends and corners. Bring up the ends and press down to lock mixture in. Continue to fill the rest of the wrappers.

Deep fry in oil until golden brown. Serve with a sweet chili dip.
