- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 onion minced
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- half a cup of ketchup
- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
Method
Heat garlic and onion with a bit of olive oil in a sauce pan until tender.
Add the ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and sugar. Mix ingredients and simmer it for 10 minutes.
Pour sauce over chicken breasts and leave in the fridge for 2 hours. Pre-heat the grill to a medium heat.
Place chicken breasts on the grill and place the lid on. Cook for 8 minutes and turn over, coat with left over sauce. Close the lid and grill for a further 8 minutes until done.
Let chicken breast settle for 5 minutes
before serving. Coat with left over sauce. (tasty!!)
- 1 kg Lean ground beef
- half a cup of cheddar cheese
- half cup of gouda cheese
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of paprika (sweet)
- 2 teaspoons of ground pepper
Method
Combine cheddar and gouda cheese in a small mixing bowl.
In another bowl combine beef, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
Mix ingredients together and form into patties. Make 8 patties bout an inch thick.
Pre-heat grill to a medium to high heat. Grill burgers for 6 minutes on each side. Then place the cheese mixture on top of each burger.
Grill for a further 2 minutes until cheese is melted to your desire.
Let burgers stand for 5 minutes before
serving. (sorry I know you want to eat straight away!)
- 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast
- half a cup of honey
- 2 tablespoons of Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 onions cut into pieces
- 1 red pepper cut into pieces
Method
In a mixing bowl, mix together honey, Soy sauce, pepper and garlic. Mix ingredients together thoroughly.
Place the chicken, onion and pepper pieces into the sauce. Place the mixing bowl in the fridge for 2 hours.
Pre-heat the grill to a high heat and place the chicken, onion, pepper pieces through skewers.
Grill the kebabs for 10 - 12 minutes turning regularly. Coat the kebabs with any left over sauce frequently to prevent them from burning.
